Inspired by The Borrowers and the idea that small actions can make a big difference in the world, Small World was a project by Zoe Parker and Fabric Lenny to help some of our youngest participants find answers to the question:
What kind of World would you like to grow up in?
Small World worked with children in two primary schools in 2015, to explore locality and design through making, doing and questioning. It created, tested and refined a creative approach that allowed children to identify their own concerns as citizens in the 21st century using storytelling, design, animation, movement and sound to explore their ideas.
